Approach and midwifery style

I believe that every expectant mum deserves a beautiful birth. They need to feel empowered, respected and cared for under safe practicing guidelines. My practice includes a hands on approach. All first time mum’s and VBAC’S will have a doula to assist during labour and birth. I believe in touch, guidance, breathing, massage, positioning, and movement during labouring to minimize medical intervention and analgesia. My practice includes a multidisciplinary approach. I work closely with obstetricians, psychologists, dietitians, reflexologists, acupuncturists, physiotherapist, homeopaths, chiropracs and General practitioners. All consultations are done at my rooms according to the WHO recommendations. I practice active third stage management, and free postnatal care to my client’s within the first 6 weeks at my rooms.
