Approach and midwifery style

I am passionate about helping parents approach pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood with confidence rather than fear. Through evidence-based education, compassionate support, and practical preparation, I help families understand their options, trust their instincts, and make informed decisions that are right for them.

I believe birth is a normal physiological life event, and that every family deserves respectful, individualised care. Whether preparing for a vaginal birth, induction, epidural, or caesarean birth, my role is not to tell parents what choices to make, but to provide information, support, and a safe space where they feel heard, respected, and empowered.

My approach combines current evidence with real-world experience, recognising that every pregnancy, birth, baby, and family is unique. I am committed to supporting parents not only through birth, but also through feeding, newborn care, recovery, and the transition into parenthood.

Above all, I want every parent to feel informed, confident, and supported, regardless of how their journey unfolds.
